This was difficult for me to read. What I liked: Roarke and Eve's developing relationship. The expansion and exploration of Eve and Feeney's relationship ("you've been her father for 10 years"...holy cow!). Peabody's backbone and becoming a good moral foil for Eve.
What I didn't care for: The satanism angle. Very popular in the 90s and it felt dated. Also, didn't care for the Captain becoming more and more removed from the streets and making black/white decisions from a desk.
Still a fav series. Great writing and character development. Not my favorite story.
